ACTION Parties
Started shortly after CJPAC was created, the ACTION Parties have evolved into some of Canada’s hottest Jewish and political events. The chic parties, currently held annually in Toronto and Montreal, bring together many of our community’s most successful young professionals mingling with a multitude of politicians from all levels of government to celebrate political engagement and support Canada and Israel.

CJPAC Fellowship
CJPAC offers a year-long Fellowship program, an opportunity that allows politically interested and active students to engage further in Canadian politics at an intense level. They have unique opportunities to meet with Members of Parliament and senior political strategists throughout the year. The Fellowship program includes a trip to Ottawa to attend a national political conference with advanced campaign training exclusively for CJPAC Fellows.
National Young Leadership Israel Advocacy Program (YLIA)
The YLIA is an exciting program co-sponsored with UIA Federations Canada and the Canadian Council for Israel and Jewish Advocacy (CIJA) that provides a select group of young professionals across Canada with the tools, materials and political relationships to lead their communities by participating in the Canadian political arena and advancing the pro-Israel agenda.
The program enables the next generation of leadership of the organized Jewish community to be exposed to and interact with Canadian parliamentarians and senior government officials, while cementing their commitment to community through engaging with their local Federation.
Mock Election
The Mock Election Program is designed to educate on the inner-workings of an election campaign through a stimulated election. Participants in the program are split into separate teams or “campaigns”. Each campaign chooses a candidate, campaign manager and fundraiser. The campaigns have time to work on and ultimately present an election platform, sign and
The mock election begins with a short introduction that explains the roles and importance of candidates, campaign signage and campaign fundraising. Teams are instructed on how to run a successful campaign and then they get to use this knowledge during the simulation.
Political Training
Campaign training teaches valuable skills that can be transferred to actual Canadian government elections.
The election training program is designed to engage and train community members to become effective campaign volunteers. The program focuses on the importance of campaigns, fundraising, phone calling, voter identification and “get out the vote” strategies.
The goal of this program is to ensure that community members are comfortable, well-trained and effective volunteers on election campaigns. The program includes various role-playing activities that give participants first-hand experience with the various roles they may play as election volunteers.
Campus Programming
CJPAC promotes various campus initiatives across Canada that seek to build an intellectual and experiential understanding of civic engagement for students. CJPAC runs programs, seminars and volunteer opportunities to increase student’s understanding, skills and enthusiasm in the decision-making process to ensure a strong voice that will resonate with decision makers.
CJPAC has been active with its partner, the Canadian Federation of Jewish Students (CFJS) in programming that seeks to encourage students to volunteer with candidates and elected officials between and during elections. CJPAC organizes interactive programming for national and regional conferences attended by Jewish students across Canada.
